Thank you for a wonderful stay! Susanne is friendly welcome made us feel right at home from the start. She said “wow ¡ You packed light!”. We didn´t understand why until we saw some of our follow travelers with many large suitcases! Pack light!. Add that to your website.
The service was personalized and the food was amazing!
We went scuba diving with Eric – This guy knows his stuff! He´s been a Dive Master here for seven years and it shows! Caño Island is beautiful make sure you visit, if at least for lunch.
Roy is the best guide for Corcovado National Park (he and Eric are good friends). He is a marine biologist but also knows everything about the wildlife of the park.
The hammocks by the dining room were where we spent a great deal of our time, and should be a part of everyone´s home.
The staff makes this place phenomenal, even while just hanging out. They go above and beyond.
We are going to miss Pirate Cove – the food, friends and atmosphere.

Este lugar es precioso! La sensación de estar en medio de la naturaleza, prácticamente solo, es increíble. Las habitaciones son muy bonitas y acogedoras, pero lo mejor es el trato personal y amable que recibes como huésped. Después de un no muy largo pero intenso (13 días en total) viaje por Costa Rica, llegamos a Bahia Drake para terminar nuestra luna de miel. Después ya no nos quedan palabras suficientes para explicar la experiencia maravillosa! Pirate Cove es un refugio fantástico, no solo para el pirata! La acogida ha sido excelente, los chicos de aquí encantadores y también el resto de huéspedes. La excursión a la Isla del Caño, con el paseo en barco rodeado de delfines alucinante! Estuvo fantástica y muy bien organizada y la comida es deliciosa! (Gracias Javier) solo nos ha faltado visitar el Parque Corcovado lo que nos obliga a volver. Muchas gracias por todo en Pirate Cove. It was a pleasure to arrive here and find so many plants, trees and animals. It was a fantastic to see the “real” Costa Rica.
Me divertí muchísimo aquí en Corcovado, vimos delfines, una ballena, unos cuantos peces hacienda el snorkeling en la Isla del Caño y en la caminata de San Pedrillo vimos unos tucanes, loras, unos monos arañas y muchas hormigas gigantes.
Era muy agradable y así uno puede conocer a otra gente más fácilmente.

Hemos pasado unos días geniales en este sitio tan paradisiaco. Toda esta paz y tranquilidad y el ambiente relajante que se respira. Nos imaginábamos que iba a ser bueno pero no tanto. En pocos días hemos vivido experiencias que nunca olvidaremos, bucear con tiburones, pasear por la selva, navegar en kayak por un rio con caimanes e incluso gracias a susa y su marido hemos podido ver las semifinales y la final de España. Por fin ganamos! Muchas gracias a todos, Susana , Nelson, los cocineros. Que bien que se come! Ha sido genial.

Pirates are hospital helpful and fantastic guides they full filled every dream, they show us today turtles in the sea, jumping dolphins, mystery spheres in the forest and fishes of every color, we believe dreaming of a world full of much great pirates.

There are 21 of us from Vancouver, Canada on a high school trip and we all really enjoined having the ocean so near so we could cool off and escape from the heat.
Which we are really not very good at dealing with, we are all very sunburn but warm and shaking off the stress and we all really enjoyed staying at pirate cove for 3 nights very relaxing beautiful and relaxing

We (Tory , Michael) had such a wonderfull experience a Pirate Cove Hotel! The food was amazing and being a chef. I know what I'm talking about. The staff was super friendly and made our stay here all that more memorable. Our accomadations were confortable and clean. This was our first visit to this area.
