Activities Rainforest and Waterfall Tour, Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica
This lovely guided tour is very similar to the tour offered at Corcovado National Park, with one big difference: don't expect to see hoards of tourists here!
We start our tour at the local town and journey up one of its rivers. Since we will cross it several times it's not a good idea to wear your best dress shoes.
During the walk we will cross an old cocoa plantation and pass through typical rainforest of this part of Costa Rica.
As we climb higher into the forest we will see a magnificent waterfall (much more beautiful than the one in Corcovado National Park).
Later we will arrive at its base and you can enjoy a refreshing swim and a picnic lunch. We will finish our hike at the beach and by picked up by boat
During the day we normally see lots of wildlife and since parts of our walk take us through more open spaces than Corcovado there is more chance of seeing many birds.
This tour will last for five to six hours and we guarantee you will be ready for a nap upon your return.
